Step Into St Benedict's Sixth Form

Choosing the right Sixth Form is one of the most important decisions you will make. These are two years to pursue the subjects you love, discover new interests, challenge yourself and prepare for the future.

At St Benedict’s, you will receive an outstanding A Level education, with inspiring teaching in small, seminar-style classes, expert guidance from our Futures team and exceptional pastoral care. You will be encouraged to think independently, explore ideas in depth and develop the confidence to pursue your ambitions, whether your next step is university, an apprenticeship or the world of work.

But Sixth Form is about much more than academic results. It is a time to develop your independence, discover new strengths and play a meaningful part in a vibrant, welcoming community. Through our distinctive Independent Academic Extension programme, you can explore interests beyond your A Levels, from research and competitive academic challenges to investment, debating, robotics and creative projects.

You will also find opportunities to lead, perform, compete, volunteer and make a difference. Whether your passion lies in sport, music, drama, art, the CCF or the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, you will be encouraged to take on new challenges and make the most of your talents.

With around 110 students in each year group, our Sixth Form combines the opportunities of a larger community with the individual attention that makes all the difference. Here, you will build lasting friendships, form strong relationships with teachers who know you well and grow within a community shaped by our Benedictine values of service and hospitality.
