Junior Department (Age 7-11)
Creativity, literacy and numeracy sit at the heart of our curriculum, enriched wherever possible by inspiring trips, visiting speakers and carefully planned events. Alongside this, children develop strong academic foundations within a more formal learning environment, growing in independence as they learn to think critically, take responsibility for their learning and approach new challenges with confidence.
Academic
Pupils benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum, encompassing English, Mathematics, Geography and History, complemented by specialist teaching in Science, Music, Art, Information and Communication Technology, Spanish, Physical Education and Games. Our dedicated Learning Support department further ensures that every child is supported to thrive and make the most of their individual strengths.
Pupils’ progress is carefully tracked throughout their time at school, with regular reports and Parents’ Evenings ensuring open communication and a strong partnership between home and school.
