St Benedict's cricket Goes Live with New Frogbox Technology
St Benedict’s has taken its cricket programme to the next level with the introduction of FrogBox, a specialist live-streaming and performance analysis system that will allow matches to be broadcast and recorded throughout the season.
The new technology has been made possible through a partnership with local dental practice Ikon Dental, whose generous sponsorship is supporting the introduction of FrogBox to St Benedict’s cricket.
FrogBox is a portable, automated camera system designed specifically for cricket. The camera follows the action throughout a match, capturing play from a clear, consistent viewpoint. Matches can then be streamed live, allowing parents, students and members of the wider St Benedict’s community to follow fixtures wherever they are. Recordings can also be watched back after the game, providing players and coaches with valuable footage for performance analysis.
The technology will be used across as many St Benedict’s cricket fixtures as possible, giving students the opportunity not only to showcase their skills but also to reflect on and learn from their performances.
