Over 100 St Benedict's Year 9 students enjoyed a taste of CCF and Duke of Edinburgh's activities, at Minley Manor, Hampshire.

The Year 9 CCF and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme Induction Day gave potential recruits a taste of the many skills and activities associated with these enriching co-curricular pursuits. Students found out how to build shelters, cook, navigate, conceal themselves in the undergrowth and much more, on a beautiful day of autumn sunshine in the Hampshire countryside. There are many adventures and challenges in store, with CCF training exercises and D of E expeditions ahead of them!
