All different, All equal

Children at the Junior School explored the theme ‘All different, all equal’, as part of national Anti-bullying Week.

St Benedict's Ealing

Pupils from Nursery to Form 2 (Year 6) were encouraged to consider what makes them unique. As well as celebrating individuality, in lessons, workshops and assembly, the children focused on the importance of valuing and including everyone in the school, so that all pupils feel able to be themselves.

The Bigfoot Arts Education Company facilitated a series of workshops and led an assembly, giving pupils the opportunity to act out possible bullying scenarios. To finish off the week, every class created a puzzle board which showed their uniqueness.

The week enabled pupils to appreciate that everything they do and say can have an effect on those around them, and above all, to understand that they are all different, but all equal.
