St Benedict's U15s are Middlesex Champions!

Congratulations to the St Benedict's Rugby U15s who have won the Middlesex County Cup!

St Benedict's U15 Rugby team win County Cup

On Tuesday 29th November the U15 rugby team won the Middlesex Trophy in emphatic fashion, winning all of their five games. This County Cup win for the U15s is the first since 2012-13. Player of the tournament was Oliver M.

The first three games were all against strong opposition and all were won in exactly the same way: two tries to one with our last try always being with the last play of the game.

Thomas K scored both tries against London Oratory, the second after a length of the pitch run by Marcus M. Tom scored again against UCS as did Will C after a clever break by Nick K. The third game against favourites Hampton again produced an amazing try by Tom, and Marcus got the all important winner. We comfortably won our last two games against Ada Lovelace and Gunnersbury.

All of the boys played their hearts out and gave their all in every game and were a credit to the school
