Teaching a way of living requires the spiritual, moral, academic and cultural development of the individual. These are encouraged throughout a pupil’s time in the Senior School. Choices will need to be made and ,with the support of parents, teachers and friends, the development of the whole person will be achieved. Each year will bring different challenges, all aimed to bring the best from the individual. However, the core values will remain throughout the senior school - values taken from the Benedictine community that shapes us. These values are evident through the principles that form the ‘Code of Conduct’ and shape the distinct mission of the School. Respect for the values of the Benedictine community and the wider Christian values are incorporated into the daily life of each student and reinforced through the academic and pastoral opportunities available throughout their time in the Senior School. The physical growth of a pupil throughout their time in the Senior School must be matched by the emotional and intellectual growth expected to make the next step forward. Many co-curricular activities exist throughout the Senior School to help nurture these qualities in the individual. Strengths are built upon, talents are developed and guidance is offered when required. The journey through the Senior School will pose many challenges. However, by developing the partnership between home and School, the community will embrace these challenges and be committed to helping every individual realise their full potential and move forward from the Senior School equipped to deal with the future.
